The more I hear, the most frustrated I get...

So my eldest daughter asked me for ideas for a research paper in her Sociology class.

Every topic I came up with got vetoed because she's fairly confident that her teacher would give her a bad grade if she selected that topicm because the research would demonstrate a conclusion that the teacher (a VERY outspoken liberal who instructs the students in as much propaganda as she does facts) wouldn't like.

I guess it just supports the theory that those that can, do. And those that can't do, teach. Anyone who is conservative in their thinking is more likely to be compentent enough to make a living in the real world, which may be why there is a dramatic overpopulation of liberals in education.

The sad thing is that this isn't just my conservative opinion, it is fairly common knowledge, and there are studies that not only support this, but indicate that it might be even worse than most people think.
